26 th EurOMA Conference

Operations adding value to society

17th - 19th June 2019, Helsinki, Finland

Thank you for your interest in organizing a special track at EurOMA 2019.

In order for your track to be considered for the conference, you need to express your interest by 7 December 2018.

To be able to set it up, we need the following information from you.

Please note, that our policy is based on a number of decisions the EurOMA Association has made based on past experiences with the conference, such as:

-         We are not to set up special tracks for any topic that is in any way covered by the over 40 topics that already exist at EurOMA.

o   Please let us know more in specific how your track suggestion would differ from the existing ones. You will find the list of existing topics on the conference website at http://euroma2019.org/call-for-papers/

o   Also, send us the description you want to have on the conference website.

-          All review processes should be centralized in order to ensure that reviewers all adhere to the same times and that no reviewer is overloaded by the work, i.e.

o   Papers to all tracks and topics will be handled within the same system and NOT by special track chairs

o   Send us a list of potential reviewers

o   Special track chairs are the “last resort” reviewers for their tracks, i.e. if your reviewers don’t come back on time, you will get to review those papers in a very short timeframe yourselves.

-         We only allow for special sessions and tracks that are chaired by a gender-diverse group of people

-          You will be able to chair your own special track, of course, and to advertise it as such. To do so,

o   Make sure you have actually signed up for the conference, and that there is a sufficient number of co-organisers registered to chair 3-4 sessions.

You will be informed of the decision whether your track will be included or not on 10 December 2018.

After the submission process has been commenced, no new tracks will be added.
