Special Sessions

Call for Special Sessions at EurOMA 2019 Conference

The Euroma 2019 conference, held in Helsinki on 17-19 June is opening an opportunity to apply for the organizing of a Special Session. Special Sessions can be organized as panel discussions or workshops.

The conference can accommodate a maximum of four Special Sessions. Themes not covered by the conference tracks will be prioritized. You can submit a short proposal (max 1 page), covering the following:

• Let us know more in specific how your track suggestion would differ from the existing ones. You will find the list of existing topics on the conference website at http://euroma2019.org/call-forpapers/ - We are not to set up special tracks for any topic that is in any way covered by the over 40 topics that already exist at EurOMA  Also, send us a description you would like to have on the website
• We only allow for special sessions and tracks that are chaired by a gender-diverse group of people
• We prioritize sessions organized by collaborative effort of scholars from diverse geographical regions
• Make sure you have actually signed up for the conference, and that there are enough of you coorganisers
